Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on or off as desired
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add the salmon, skin-side down if using, and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden and nearly cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice, cooking until the sauce slightly thickens.
  5. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over each fillet. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and well-glazed.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives and serve immediately.
